Art of Delegation

Today I will be sharing with you, my experiences on Art of Delegation… before that let me ask some questions-

• How many of you have taken a flight from Delhi to say Mumbai? Or traveled by train? I guess most of us.
• How many of you dine out in a restaurant? I guess most of us.
• How many of you have gone to pray for your good beings or to express your gratitude to a Church/temple/mosque. I guess most of us.

Let me ask, have we ever met the driver or the pilot before we board a train or a plane, or the Chef before we dine, or the God before praying, answer in most cases I believe would be NO, yet we delegate. We delegate our travel to the driver, our dining experience to the chef, and our well-being to God, and so on, there can be numerous such examples?

What drives this delegation?

Our Trust! Trust forms the essence of Delegation, what then is the basis of trust? How to build trust?

The trust would come from Delivery and delivery would be one’s Capability.

Therefore, Build Capability, Build Trust, and Delegate for the growth of yourself and your team.
